(Lansing, MI) – The Michigan Senate has approved a 643-million-dollar supplemental spending bill, restoring all work projects denied by the House Appropriations Committee last week. Senate Majority Leader Winnie Brinks says they pulled back from passing more bills that they negotiated with the House this week. She says the supplemental spending bill is “clean” and was passed “to restore the damage that was done and make people whole.”

Brinks says House Republicans “slashed and burned” money “recklessly” last week.
