Grand Haven, MI (WGHN) – Central Park Players will feature the holiday comedy , “Let Nothing You Dismay,” a hilarious tale of family and all the chaos that comes with them.
The show will run for five performances at Central Park Place in Grand Haven on December 12, 13, 19 & 20 at 7:30 p.m., with a matinee on December 21 at 2:30 p.m.
Written by Topher Payne, “Let Nothing You Dismay” takes place in a maternity ward on Christmas Day. Allie and Kevin are happily anticipating the birth of their adoptive child, they are just waiting for a phone call from the birth parents. Christmas is thrown for a loop once their families descend onto the hospital and throw everything into mayhem. Allie and Kevin must do everything in their power to keep their families away from the birth parents, even if it costs their sanity in the process!

Directed by Joy Lamphere with her Assistant Director Amy Lalick-Prinzi and producer Kedon Lamphere, the production features a talented cast: Gabi Tomes, Will MacDonald, Margretta Dumas, John Gerts, Melissa Moerland, R. Michael Clinksales, Becky Anderson, and Dan Castle. A highlight of this show will be the 8 Actors playing 22 characters.
“After laughing through the script, I wanted to share this delightful show with the community. I’m so excited as I watched the talented cast bring these characters to life.
The cast are each playing multiple roles, so they have been putting their time and skills to work, polishing each character until they shine. If you have ever experienced family dynamics at the holidays and like to laugh, don’ miss Let Nothing You Dismay!” says director Joy Lamphere. Lamphere is also on the Board of Directors.

Central Park Players also invites community members to audition for “Marjorie Prime,” a drama by Jordan Harrison and directed by Jennifer Reeths. Auditions are at Central
Park Place on December 15 & 16 at 6:00 PM, and callbacks will be held by invitation on December 17.
