Holland, MI (WGHN) – A 17-year-old Holland teen who was not wearing a seatbelt was air lifted to the hospital and is in critical condition after being ejected from his vehicle after it flipped at least 10 times and caught fire.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s Deputies say a 1999 Honda CRV went through a red light at Douglas Avenue at a high speed and struck a 2021 Toyota 4Runner. The Honda lost control and exited the roadway rolling several times just after 8:00 p.m. Monday. Bystanders rendered aid till police and AMR ambulance were on the scene. The teen was then air-lifted to ab area hospital.
The 47-year-old driver of the Toyota a 47-year-old from Minnesota, was not injured in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
