(Grand Rapids, MI) – Drought conditions are continuing to linger across West Michigan. The U.S. Drought Monitor currently shows all of West Michigan under some type of drought condition. Severe drought conditions are found in Oceana, Newaygo, Muskegon, Ottawa, and Mecosta counties.
This comes after portions of the region only had a quarter of an inch to a half inch of rainfall during the entire month of September.
