Grand Haven, MI (WGHN) – A Grand Haven coffee shop with a mission beyond lattes and pastries is asking the community for help to keep its doors open.
Kenzie’s Be Café, a nonprofit that provides job training and employment opportunities for people with disabilities, has launched a $20,000 matching campaign to cover operating costs as it heads into its third year of business.
This past Summer we asked owner Erin Lyon what she’s learned over the years.
The community has already stepped up, contributing $5,000 toward the goal. Lyon remains optimistic that support will continue to grow. Donate here.
Good Morning Grand Haven’s Mary Ellen Murphy will be a celebrity barista on Friday, October 10 from 9-11 a.m. Stop by and say hi.
