(Cleveland, OH) – The Detroit Tigers and Cleveland Guardians will play their American League Wild Card series in Cleveland starting tomorrow. The Tigers, who had the best record in the American League for most of the first half of the season, clinched the sixth and final A.L. playoff spot this weekend and finished second in the Central Division with an 87-and-75 record, one game behind Cleveland. Detroit won’t have a home game until Game Three of the American League Divisional Series on October 7 if they advance past the Guardians.
Tarik Skubal will start for the Tigers tomorrow afternoon, and Cleveland has not announced their starting pitcher yet.
