(Detroit, MI) – Michigan’s lieutenant governor is safe after his home was targeted in a bomb threat yesterday. Garlin Gilchrist says the threat has been cleared, but says it was credible and was a scary time until police gave him, his wife, and their children word that they were okay. In a statement, he says political violence cannot be tolerated, excused, or normalized.
The threat was made a day after conservative influencer Charlie Kirk was shot and killed giving a speech in Utah.
