(Sawa, Japan) – Governor Gretchen Whitmer has announced Tokyo-based auto supplier Astemo Ltd. will create a regional headquarters in Michigan, supporting at least 200 good-paying jobs and retaining 175 others. Whitmer says Astemo chose to expand in Wixom over other sites in Ohio. The new HQ will be ten miles east of their existing North American headquarters in Farmington Hills.

The company said in June that their Farmington Hills site had been outgrown and they will need a new location soon.
