(Washington, DC) – President Trump says he has the right to do anything he wants to do as president of the United States. Trump spoke Tuesday in a televised cabinet meeting, and made the remark when he was talking about sending troops to Chicago. The President said he would have much more respect for Illinois Governor JB Pritzker if the Democrat approved of troops being deployed in his state. Trump said, “I would have the right to do anything I want to do” as president, “if I think our country is in danger.”
Governor Pritzker rejected the claim on social media, and responded, “No, Donald, you can’t do whatever you want.”
