Six-Thousand New Words Added To Cambridge Dictionary

(Cambridge) — Over six-thousand new words are being added to the Cambridge Dictionary. Words including “skibidi,” “tradwife,” and “delulu,” are being added to reflect the growing influence of internet culture on the English language.

The dictionary’s lexical program manager emphasized the enduring impact of internet culture on language and said that only words with “staying power” are added.
