(Lansing, MI) – State officials are looking at their next steps after the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced it is ending the seven-billion-dollar Solar for All grant program. Michigan was obligated to receive just over 156-million-dollars from the grants for rooftop solar, community solar, energy storage, and more. Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy director Phil Roos is working with the Attorney General’s office on what to do now.

He says the program would cut energy costs for families by 400-dollars on average and would create 700 jobs.
