Montcalm County, MI) — The White House Christmas tree will come from a Michigan farm this year. Korson’s Tree Farms in Montcalm County says it has been selected to provide the Christmas tree for the White House this holiday season. This marks only the third time in history that the White House Christmas tree has come from Michigan.
The tradition of bringing a tree into the White House began back in 1889 while President Harrison was in office.
