(Lansing, MI) – Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson says she has raised three-point-five-million-dollars in her bid to become the next governor. That money was raised from 27-thousand contributors from January 1 through last weekend and is the most a non-incumbent candidate for governor has ever raised at this point in a campaign in state history.

Benson says she has received donations from people in every county and 95-percent of the contributions were under 100-dollars.
