(Grand Rapids, MI) – Federal prosecutor Timothy VerHey is being appointed as the next U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Michigan. VerHey has served as a federal prosecutor in Grand Rapids since 1990 and was appointed for the new role by U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi. On Monday, VerHey was sworn into the position which became vacant in January when Mark Totten resigned from the role.
VerHey will now lead a team of more than 60 prosecutors throughout the region.
