Grand Haven, MI (WGHN) – Floto’s Gifts, a beloved fixture in our downtown community since 1946 has announced they are closing their doors.
For nearly eight decades, Floto’s Gifts has been more than just a store; it has been a cherished destination for locals and visitors alike, offering a unique selection of local t-shirts, sweatshirts, throws, Coast Guard items, and more.
They are hosting a special retirement sale that will run the next few weeks. They encourage our loyal customers and new visitors to take this opportunity to shop our wide array of unique and memorable items while supplies last. This is a chance to own a piece of Floto’s Gifts history and to celebrate the store that has been a part of so many lives for generations.
Owner Paul Ellingboe says Floto’s Gifts has been a labor of love for his family and their dedicated staff.
“We are deeply grateful for the support and patronage of our wonderful community over the years. While it is bittersweet to say goodbye, we look forward to welcoming everyone for one last shopping experience during our retirement sale.”
The closure of Floto’s Gifts marks the end of an era for our downtown.
“The store has been a staple for those seeking distinctive gifts and keepsakes that capture the spirit and pride of Grand Haven,” Ellingboe said. “As we move forward, we do so with fond memories and immense gratitude for the countless friendships and connections made through our doors.”
Please join in celebrating the legacy of Flotos’ Gifts by visiting Floto’s during the retirement sale. It’s a final opportunity to find those perfect items and to reminisce about the many years we’ve shared together.
