(Lansing, MI) – Governor Gretchen Whitmer is disputing a story in Politico that she called President Biden’s campaign manager Friday to say Michigan was no longer winnable for the Democrat. Whitmer says she is behind Biden fully and says he can win Michigan and a second term due to his successes over his first term.
There are people in the Democratic Party who are wondering if she could replace Biden as their nominee after the President had a poor showing at last Thursday’s debate against former President Donald Trump.
