(Oceana County, MI) — No injuries are being reported after a tree fell on a cabin at a summer camp in Oceana County. The incident happened around 2 a.m. Thursday morning when a tree fell onto a cabin housing ten youth campers and two adult counselors at Camp Ao-Wa-Kiya in Shelby. One of the counselors was pinned to a bed, but was freed and found to be uninjured.
The cabin is said to be a complete loss and one state trooper was taken to a hospital for a minor hand injury.
