Chris Kleinjans checks in after defeating Lucy Ebel in Recall election

Grand Haven, MI 9WGHN) – Chris Kleinjans has defeated incumbent Lucy Ebel, the District 2 commissioner who was recalled by voters after a successful petition drive gathered the required number of signatures to call a special election. Election results are to be certified by Monday, May 13.

Chris was a guest of Good Morning Grand Haven with Mary Ellen Murphy. He shared what he’s learned through this process and hopes for finishing out the term. Kleinjans and Ebel are on the ballot this fall.
