(GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP)-A 45-year-old Grand Rapids man is hospitalized in serious condition following a one-car accident in Georgetown Township this morning. The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office says the driver’s SUV struck a tree at Fillmore Street and Cottonwood Drive around 945. Found unconscious and pinned in the vehicle, crews extricated the man and rushed him to a Grand Rapids Hospital. As they continue their investigation, authorities say it’s unclear whether the driver wore a seatbelt.
