(Grand Haven, MI) – The GHAPS Board of Education has voted to enter into contract negotiations with Kristin Perkowski, MA, Associate Superintendent of Curriculum & Instruction, Traverse City Area Public Schools, MI, to be the next Superintendent for the Grand Haven Area Public Schools.
The Board President Chris Streng and Vice-President Marc Eickholt will now, along with legal counsel, enter into contract negotiations with Kristin. The finalized contract will come back to the whole board for an official vote once it has been completed.
Scott Grimes will retire in June.
