Grand Haven, MI (WGHN) – The Momentum Center’s Prom with a Purpose promises to dazzle this year. Jenna stopped into the WGHN studios to chat.
Hosted by the Momentum Center, the Trillium Event Center in Spring Lake will be the setting for this year’s “Prom with a Purpose,” Saturday, May 18, from 5:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. A grown-up event for singles, groups, and couples, 18 and older, “Prom with a Purpose” promises a dazzling evening for those excited for their first, second, or “Who’s Counting?” prom experience.
“Prom with a Purpose” will include dinner, dancing with a DJ, Grand Finale desserts, and a cash bar. An additional highlight of the evening is the prom raffle, which includes a six-night stay at Boyne Mountain and a five-night stay in New Orleans. Local raffle prizes include a tour of the Grand Haven drawbridge and a ride on a fire truck, plus a variety of intriguing baskets.
Photographer Kim Street will be on hand to memorialize this year’s “Prom with a Purpose” with prom portraits. Prom wear is encouraged, but not required.
Ticket cost is $35 per person and can be purchased in person at the Momentum Center, 401 N. 7th Street, Grand Haven, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased the evening of the event at Trillium, 17246 VanWagoner Road in Spring Lake.
The Momentum Center aims to create a community where every person is fully visible and connected.
