Grand Haven, MI (WGHN) – After the second interview process took place with GHAPS Board of Education in the search for a new Superintendent, the board voted to table choosing the district’s next superintendent. Despite deliberating for 45 minutes, the board says they needed more time to choose a candidate for the position. They hope to make a decision tomorrow.
The three candidates are:
Kristin Perkowski, MA, Associate Superintendent of Curriculum & Instruction,Traverse City Area Public Schools, MI
Jason Reinecke, M.Ed., Assistant Superintendent of Human Services, Grand Haven Area Public Schools, MI
Scott Smith, Ed.S., Superintendent, Cedar Springs Public Schools, MI
Superintendent Scott Grimes will retire in June from Grand Haven Area Public Schools.
