Grand Haven, MI (WGHN) – An official state historical marker will be dedicated in Mulligan’s Hollow. The Hollow is now the site of the YMCA, the Imagination Station, Skatepark, tennis and pickleball courts, softball fields, and the Ski Bowl.

Speakers at the dedication include Larry Waggoner from the Michigan Historical Commission, Grand Haven Mayor Bob Monetza, Larry Romanelli from the Little River Band of Odawa
Indians, John and Julia- Mulligan’s descendants, Jon Jellema, former State Representative, and Wally Ewing, local historian. Denny Swartout will serve as Master of Ceremonies.

It’s Saturday May 11th beginning at 4:30 p.m. with Native American drum music. Remarks and the unveiling of the marker will start promptly at 5:00 p.m.. Culvers will distribute ice cream treats throughout the event.
