(Grand Rapids, MI) – The family of 17-year-old Riley Doggett is demanding answers from the Kent County Sheriff’s Office as to why he was run over by a deputy’s vehicle two weeks ago. Doggett’s sister, Taylor Daniels, spoke outside Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital where he is being treated and says they are praying for a miracle to heal him. Daniels says her brother has bleeding on his brain and doctors told them he was not going to recover.
Doggett was run over by a deputy’s vehicle while he was running away from an attempted traffic stop when he was a passenger in a vehicle police said had been stolen.
