(Ottawa County, MI) – After years of work, a dog beach is opening soon in Ottawa County. Back in 2020, Kirk Park has been closed during peak hours for dogs after high water levels eroded the shoreline and damaged the stairs leading to the beach.
Construction of the affected areas is now complete and beginning on May 1st, dogs will be allowed off leash daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. through September 30th.
