(Lansing, MI) – Michigan House Democrats will be spending around ten-and-a-half-million-dollars on TV ads this fall as they work to keep their majority. Nearly eight-million-dollars will be spent on metro Detroit races, with money also heading to the Grand Rapids, Flint, Traverse City, Marquette, and South Bend, Indiana markets. Michigan Democratic Party chair Lavora Barnes says they are not only focused on the top of the ticket but are supporting all Democrats.

She says they will be reminding voters of the charges against former Republican House Speaker Lee Chatfield.
