Grand Haven, MI (WGHN) – The Grand Haven Area Public School’s Board of Education has scheduled the following three candidates for second round interviews for Tuesday, April 23, 2024.
They are as follows:
5:30 p.m. – Kristin Perkowski, MA, Associate Superintendent of Curriculum & Instruction,Traverse City Area Public Schools, MI
6:45 p.m. – Jason Reinecke, M.Ed., Assistant Superintendent of Human Services, Grand Haven Area Public Schools, MI
8:00 p.m. – Scott Smith, Ed.S., Superintendent, Cedar Springs Public Schools, MI
Interviews will be held in the cafeteria at Grand Haven High School, 17001 Ferris St, Grand Haven, MI 49417. Staff and the community are encouraged to attend. There will be an opportunity to fill out interview feedback forms after each of the interviews. Copies of the feedback forms will be presented to the board.
Prior to these interviews, the GHAPS Board of Education has scheduled community open houses on Tuesday, April 23 from 4:00 p.m. -5:00 p.m .for the three finalists selected for the open superintendency. The final candidates will be available to meet with staff, students, and community members at Grand Haven High School, 17001 Ferris St. Please enter through the main entrance. Those in attendance at the open house will be able to fill out an input form that will be shared with all the board members.
