(Lansing, MI) – A tornado warning in the Lansing area yesterday afternoon resulted in the Michigan House of Representatives being evacuated. Representatives and staff were ushered out of the chamber just before 2 p.m. and sent to the lower levels of the Capitol. They returned by 2:30 p.m.
The storm passed the area without threatening the Capitol.
