Grand Haven, MI (WGHN) The 2024 Street Resurfacing Project in the City of Grand Haven will begin on Monday, April 22, 2024, starting with manhole removals and lowering in preparation for milling.
Milling operations will begin on April 30th.
Paving of the streets will begin the week of Monday, May 7, 2024.Pavement markings and clean-up are scheduled for the week of Monday, May 13, 2024.
The streets being resurfaced are listed below:
Lafayette Avenue, Harbor Drive to 5th Street
Washington Avenue, Albee Street to Hopkins Street
Sheldon Road, Robbins Road to Taylor Avenue
Harbor Drive, Columbus Avenue to 2nd Street
Portions of Escanaba Park
Portions of Lake Forest Cemetery
During the time each of these areas is being milled or resurfaced, there will be “No Parking, Tow-Away Zone” signs posted. Contractors will maintain through traffic at all locations.
All work is weather-dependent, and schedule changes may occur.
