(Holland, MI) – A 41-year-old Holland man is hospitalized in Grand Rapids after he was shot in the head Saturday. Holland Public Safety Captain Robert Buursma says the man is in very serious or critical condition and they arrested a 27-year-old man. The suspect told police there was a bomb in the house where the shooting happened on West 19th Street, but the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives found no evidence of explosives.
The suspect and the victim did not know each other and Buursma says they are still trying to establish what led up to the shooting.
