Grand Haven, MI (WGHN) – Deepfakes, created using advanced AI, are increasingly being used to spread misinformation and exploit individuals, particularly children. The ability of these technologies to create realistic, manipulated content poses a serious risk to the trust and security within our community.
In response, the Ottawa Area Superintendents Association is developing a Public Service Announcement that aims to educate our community members and families about the nature of deepfakes, how to identify them, and the steps to take if they encounter such content. 92.1 WGHN is airing the PSA’s.
