Polkton Twp, MI (WGHN) – A 44-year-old Grandville man is dead after a single vehicle crash Saturday on Leonard Street in Polkton Township. The Investigation showed that the vehicle was west on Leonard Road around 4:30 p.m. Saturday when it left the roadway going down into the ditch on the south side of the road hitting an embankment. The vehicle then came to rest on the edge of a ravine. The driver and only occupant of the vehicle was pinned in the vehicle. Attempts were made to render aid but, the drivers injuries were fatal.
This crash remains under investigation and anyone with information is requested to contact the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.
