(EAST LANSING, MI)-The working relationship between the Spartans & Broncos is being extended.
Michigan State University has announced two more football games with Western Michigan University are now contracted.
The Green & White will welcome the Broncos in a pair of season openers on September 2, 2028, & August 30, 2031.
The current deal was slated to end with the August 30, 2025, contest.
MSU leads the all-time series 15-2 and has not lost to the Broncos since 1921.
All but one game of the series has been played in East Lansing. In 2015, the Spartans came out west to defeat the Broncos 37-24 in Kalamazoo’s Waldo Stadium.
