Grand Haven, MI (WGHN) – A car crashed through the south wall of the Dollar Tree late Tuesday morning after the driver accidentally hit the accelerator instead of the brake while attempting to park. Police said the black Chrysler 300 went through the glass wall and into the store’s break room. No injuries were reported, and the store remains open.
Grand Haven Department of Public Safety Sgt. Josh Tomes Tells the Grand Haven Tribune that no one was inside the break room at the time of the crash.
A wrecker was called to remove the vehicle from the building. Afterward, a building inspector was expected to assess the structure for possible damage.
