(Grand Rapids, MI) – A dispute over a soccer game at Southwest Elementary School in Grand Rapids resulted in a woman and a 14-year-old boy both being shot and killed. It happened just after 6:30 p.m. yesterday in the area of Oakland Avenue SW and Rumsey Street. The suspect approached a group of kids who were playing soccer and asked if he could join them and opened fire when he was turned away.
The woman was shot after she came to the aid of the 14-year-old boy and the suspect was arrested after being tracked to his house. No names have been released.
