(Lansing, MI) – There are 187 local millage proposals on the ballot tomorrow asking for over four-point-25-billion-dollars from voters across 67 counties. Most of them, 125, are school requests of over four-billion-dollars. That makes up for 94-percent of what is being requested of voters. Sixty-five school bonds for nearly three-point-74-million-dollars are on the ballots, making up for 88-percent of the money.
Voters in the Grand Haven Area Public Schools District will be asked to approve a non-homestead millage rate of 18 mills to support operating costs for the district.
