(Atlanta, GA) — The Tigers lost their series-opener. Detroit fell 5-2 to the Atlanta Braves on the road. Casey Mize got the loss after he allowed two runs in two-and-a-third innings before leaving with a groin injury. He is set for an MRI today. Javier Báez also left the contest with an injury and will undergo testing on his right ankle.
