Grand Haven, MI (WGHN) – A citywide street resurfacing project is scheduled to begin Monday, April 27, 2026.
Work will start with manhole removals and adjustments ahead of milling, which is also expected to begin that week. Paving is planned for the week of May 4, followed by pavement markings and final cleanup.
The streets included in the project are:
Lake Avenue (Harbor Drive to Woodlawn Avenue)
Harbor Drive (City Beach to Grand Avenue)
Orchard Street (Ferry Street to dead end)
Ferry Street (Jackson Street to Fulton Avenue)
Pennoyer Avenue (Sheldon Road to 7th Street)
Colfax Avenue (Sheldon Road to Cutler Street)
Taylor Avenue (Ferry Street to Despelder Street)
Traffic will be maintained throughout the project, but drivers should expect delays. “No Parking – Tow Away” restrictions will be in effect on the listed streets during construction.
Emergency and garbage services will not be affected.
