(Port Sheldon Township, MI) – The driver who died after being ejected in a rollover crash Wednesday in Port Sheldon Township has been identified. He was 21-year-old Escobar Cruz of Grand Rapids. Cruz lost control after going off the gravel shoulder of Van Buren Street into the sand, and the car then rolled and he was tossed out.
He was not wearing a seat belt. Van Buren Street has been under construction since December.
