(Plymouth, MI) – The 2026 road construction season is officially underway. Governor Gretchen Whitmer toured a construction project near Plymouth yesterday on M-14, and says she is proud to keep her promise of “fixing the damn roads” that she made when elected.
She says the state is making a nearly two-billion-dollar investment into fixing state and local roads, creating tens of thousands of good-paying jobs and lowering costs for drivers.
