(Grand Rapids, MI) – Michigan State Police are joining law enforcement in five other states for a crackdown on distracted driving. The effort kicked off on Monday and runs through next Monday. Troopers will be running high-visibility patrols to keep an eye out for motorists who are using devices or doing other things that pull their focus from the road.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol and state police in Indiana, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, and West Virginia are participating as well.
