(Coloma, MI) – Amtrak has canceled the Pere Marquette line between Chicago and Grand Rapids indefinitely due to the ground under the tracks being washed out in southwest Michigan. The washout happened in Coloma. Amtrak is using buses to take riders between the two cities.
Announcements for when the repairs will be made and completed have not been made.
