New Poll Puts Perry Johnson, John James Nearly Even In Republican Governor’s Race

(Lansing, MI) – A new poll of likely Republican primary voters in the primary for governor shows Perry Johnson is nearly even with Congressman John James. James has a 23-to-20-percent lead, and the JMC Analytics and Polling survey has a margin of error of four-point-62-percent. Former Attorney General Mike Cox is third with six-percent support, Senate Minority Leader Aric Nesbitt is fourth with five-percent, and former House Speaker Tom Leonard is fifth with four-percent support.

Forty-four-percent of voters, however, have not made up their mind.
