Woman’s Body Found In Muskegon River

(Muskegon Township, MI) – Two fishermen discovered the body of a woman in the Muskegon River Saturday afternoon in Muskegon Township. Township Police Chief Patrick Vandommelen says the discovery was made around 200 yards east of US-31 around noon. She was white, in her 40s or 50s, and her identity has not been determined.

Investigators are still working to determine the cause of her death.
