Grand Haven, MI (WGHN) – The 2026 Street Resurfacing Project in the City of Grand Haven will begin on Monday, April 27, 2026. The project starts with manhole removals and lowering in
preparation for milling. Milling operations will also begin the same week.
Paving will begin the week of Monday, May 4, 2026. Pavement markings and clean up are scheduled the same week.
The streets being resurfaced are listed below:
Lake Ave. (Harbor Dr. to Woodlawn Ave.)
Harbor Dr. (City Beach to Grand Ave.)
Orchard (Ferry St. to Dead End)
Ferry St. (Jackson St. to Fulton Ave.)
Pennoyer Ave. (Sheldon Rd. to 7th St.)
Colfax Ave. (Sheldon Rd. to Cutler St.)
Taylor Ave. (Ferry St. to Despelder St.)
Traffic will be maintained by the contractor throughout the project. There will be “No Parking Tow Away” in effect during the project on the streets listed above. Emergency Services and garbage services will not be affected.
