Grand Haven, MI (WGHN) – The Rapidian and Wealthy Theatre invite you to a special screening of the new documentary Rebel With a Clause, featuring an in-person appearance by Ellen Jovin and Brandt Johnson. It takes place this Sunday March 22nd.
One fall day, Ellen Jovin set up a folding table on a Manhattan sidewalk with a handmade sign that read “Grammar Table.” Almost instantly, curious passersby stopped to ask questions, share stories, and even air their grammar grievances. What followed became the stuff of grammar legend.

Ellen and her husband, filmmaker Brandt Johnson, took the table on the road, traveling to all 50 states as Brandt captured the lively exchanges along the way. But Rebel With a Clause is about more than grammar—it’s a heartfelt journey that explores connection, curiosity, and the power of conversation to bring people together in a divided time.
