Grand Haven, MI (WGHN) – Zach Baker is a runner. A runner with a purpose. On Sunday March 22nd, he’ll be leaving Hatton Park in Grand Haven at 9:00 a.m. and headed to downtown Grand Rapids all in the name of veterans who have lost their lives to suicide.
He has a buddy that follows in a truck with water and snacks and a Michigan State Police Cruiser will also escort him. The route will be along Lake Michigan Drive.
His t-shirt he’ll be wearing will have the names of 100 names of service members who have died by suicide in the military. Baker lives in Grand Rapids and is looking forward to Sunday.
