Grand Haven, MI (WGHN) – The City of Grand Haven would like to inform residents and visitors that work is underway to remove and replace the charter fishing docks at
Chinook Pier.
City staff have begun the process of removing the existing docks and installing new docking infrastructure as part of ongoing efforts to maintain safe and reliable public waterfront facilities. The work is being completed by City personnel and is expected to be finished by mid-April, in time for the upcoming boating and fishing season.
During construction, the charter dock area at Chinook Pier will be temporarily unavailable. The City appreciates the public’s patience as these improvements are completed.
This project will enhance the safety, durability, and usability of the docks for charter operators an visitors who enjoy one of Grand Haven’s most popular waterfront destinations.
