(Lansing, MI) – The blizzard warning for the eastern part of the Upper Peninsula will expire at 8 a.m. today, but travel throughout the U.P. is not recommended. The storm dropped 31-inches of snow in the central part of the U.P. and up to 20-inches of snow remain possible in the snowbelt areas of the northern Lower Peninsula.
Wind gusts today are forecast to be between 45 and 60-miles-an-hour.
