(Three Rivers, MI) – There are reports that four people are dead after several tornadoes touched down in southwest Michigan Friday. Three were killed when a twister hit Union City, with another fatality reported in nearby Cass County.
At least on ripped through the village of Edwardsburg, where this resident got hit hard.
This Edwardsburg, Michigan resident says he’s seen this type of damage before.
Meanwhile, in the city of Three Rivers the National Weather Service says a twister touched down around 4 p.m. local time. Video posted online shows the tornado ripping the roof off a Menards home improvement store. Severe storms in the region could continue throughout the night.
